Freshie Style

Ahh, freshman year of high school. Some say they loved it, some say they hated it. Some are scared, some are excited...sometimes a little bit too excited. Wanna know a weird thing? I actually never wanted to go to King. In fact, I hated it. None of my friends were going there and I thought I was going to hate it there. But surprisingly, I love it here! I've met new people that I never thought I would be friends with, and I actually found people that have the same interests as me^^


I thought high school was going to be hard, scary and different. I'm a person who doesn't like change, but I think going to King instead of the schools that I wanted to go to was a good change for me. I'm in Asian Club and on every Thursday I get excited to go up to the study hall room and be with my Asian Club friends. I told some of my classmates that I am teaching myself Korean and that I listen to K-Pop. Some of them thought it was weird that I listened to it, while others thought that it was cool and they told me they listened to it too. I felt...hmm how do I put this? Welcomed, I guess. I didn't have to change myself into being friends with people and they actually don't make fun of me or the music I listen too. It's kinda cool, because I thought I would get made fun of. 


Even though it's my freshman year, I can tell that I'm going to love the next four years at King. My GPA is already higher than 3.0 and I must say that I surprised myself O.o But, I can't get mad, right?
Well now I'm off to go pig out on some popcorn and watch 'The Outsiders', one of the greatest movies and books ever^^
